Surfing Lessons
Includes a long board, wet suit, and lesson with resident Inertia pro surfer Gene Gore (takes the ladies out), and his paddle board champ wife Rachel (takes the boys out; she’s not hard on the eyes, fellas!)

Mexico Border Bash
Includes round-trip luxury motor coach from South Padre to Brownsville, Texas, and full American staff. In Brownsville, you’ll walk across the international bridge to Matamorros, Mexico (no passport or birth certificate required, just a drivers license). The trip includes two clubs open bar, all you care to drink for 2 1/2 hours, safe staff, and the ride back. This is a night event, an Inertia Tours exclusive.
We’re not only the original company providing this, we’re the only one. Over 10,000 students have gone on this side trip with us, so it’s a overwhelming demonstration of the safety of this trip and Mexico in general. The government even provides Inertia with an exclusive Tourista Police escort service. The price is separately.
Dolphin Watch Tour

One of the wonders of nature, South Padre Island has the most dolphins in the wild in all of North America. Bring your camera! They offer a sweet souvenir picture in front of the yacht when you’re done for , and it’s actually worth it because you are on a once in a lifetime trip!

Party Yacht Cruise
Our party yacht cruise is two full hours with beer, contests, music and more. It also includes cover charge after the cruise to Tequila Frogs — an Inertia Tours exclusive event — since we’re the only company big enough to pull it off right.
Sure. We have a lame competitor trying it… but you don’t get your cover charge into Tequila Frogs for free. The price for this trip is separately.
Fishing
The fishing in South Padre is INCREDIBLE. While it can be expensive, the cost can be much less much less if you take a large group. Expect to pay - per person to go for the boat, equipment and some beer. This trip is offered by Breakaway Cruises as a discount for coming down with Inertia.
If you can do it, try to pay extra to get the Poco Mas yacht and have Daniel Bryant personally take you out. Daniel is a world class fisherman and possibly the best professional fisherman on the island &mdas; and maybe in the entire State of Texas. The extra cost is absolutely worth the experience!
Day Shopping Trip to Mexico
Provided by our affiliate Original Tours and close Inertia friend, Chris Brandriff. Chris is an island native and can tell you anything about Mexico & South Padre. This trip includes a guided tour, round trip motor coach, and you can buy a meal at Gracias at your own cost. The price is for any day of the week, although Inertia can set it up cheaper if you stop into our office at Sunchase Mall.
Jet Skiing
You can rent jet skis at Palm Street Pier next to Tequila Frogs. The price is - for a half hour. Advice: check the equipment over after you’re done, or you could get charged if something is broken when you return it.
Parasailing
Notice: You should only parasail with Breakaway Cruises. They are super-safe with Coast Guard-approved captains at the helm. Breakaway Cruises is the only company that our owner will allow students to consider for safety reasons.
Parasailing is offered year-round, at for a tandem — that’s right, you can go up with a friend! You don’t get wet, and there are no dangerous beach landings. You’ll need to go on a non-windy day, because they won’t take you up if the weather isn’t calm. As an Inertia guest, you can take off the retail price if you stop by our office at Sunchase mall.
